Koh PaNgan or PaNgan Island is 20 km north far from Koh Samui and from the main-land 100 km. You can go to this Island by Ferry Ship from Koh Samui, NakornSriThamaraj or Surathani province.
Everybody know Koh PaNgan is the wonderful place for full moon party. Thousands of people come to this island for enjoy the overnight dancing. You can buy 1 jug of beer and dance on the beach together and may share with your unknown freinds besides. The interesting show along the beach is Fire Showing that everybody can try even you!!. To go to the Big party you have to go to Rin Beach. Rin Beach is the most beautiful of Koh PaNgan with 2 km long, go by boat at Thong SaLa or Baan Khai.
Bophut is really has two places; Bophut beach, which located several kilometres between Big Buddha and Maename beachs and the charming Fisherman's Village which is on the middle section of the beach.
Lamai Beach is located in south of Chaweng beach. The beach isn't long, the off-white sand isn't as fine and not much restaurants and bars same with the range of quality from Chaweng. That's why the cheaper guesthouses and resorts can be found at this area. The beach has three distinct areas, the north is quieter with less development but good for relaxation. The center and southern have more development and both areas have a lot of activities.
