Tower Bridge in London is beautiful and amazing

London Tower Bridge is one of the most famous tourist attractions in southeast London, and is a national symbol and history.
This bridge is above the river Thames between Tower Hamlets linking (north) with Horselydown Lane (southern section).

The bridge was designed by using the method of bascule bridge and suspension bridge, 244 m long bridge

BACKGROUND

In the second half of the 19th century increased commercial development in the East End of London, forcing London to make the bridge as a distinguished trade route linking London Bridge and the Tower of London. In 1884, Sir Horace Jones is a staff of design approved. One of Jones staff, Sir John Wolfe Barry gave the idea for the bridge was made with the concept of Bascule bridge

DEVELOPMENT STAGE

Making the bridge beginning in 1886, took 8 years in the manufacturing process with 5 people contractor Sir John Jackson (foundations), Baron Armstrong (Hydraulics), William Webster, Sir HH Bartlett, and Sir William Arrol & Co., 432 workers, it takes approximately 70 000 tons of concrete, and 11,000 tons of steel.

On June 30, 1894 the bridge was inaugurated by The Prince of Wales (the future King Edward VII) with his wife
