Despite some uncomfortable experiences that I encountered during wwoofing in Korea, I can't stress enough how wwoofing has taught me about Korean culture and their lifestyle. The farming is unquestionably tiring but self-redeeming at the end of the day.

As I'll be going to Korea again, I can't resist to wwoof. Definitely. :) this time? It's gonna none other than *drum roll* Jeju Island! The people speak unfathomable dialect compared to the standard spoken Seoul dialect. I wonder how much can I comprehend?

If you think about wwoofing in Korea, I stumbled upon this great site at Daum cafe which contains reviews of wwoofer's experiences. Bear in mind that wwoofing is not all glitters and bling bling so it might not be your cup of tea.

How to Purchase Tickets from T'Way Airlines for Jeju Island

After becoming a member, let's book a flight ticket to Jeju Island!

Go to T'Way Airlines website: http://www.twayair.com/

Follow the steps below. To become a T'Way Airlines member, check the post here. 

1. Choose Login
2. Key in user name
3. Key in password
4. Click Login to go to the next page.

Once you successfully logged in, the word '로그인' will change to '로그아웃' which reads 'log out'

To book ticket to Jeju Island, please refer to the picture below.

국내선 예매 - Domestic reservation

여정선택 - Journey or itinerary selection

왕복 - Round trip

편도 - One way

출발지 - Origin

도착지 - Destination

가는날 - Date of Departure

오는날 - Date of Arrival 

김포 - Gimpo

제주 - Jeju

성인 - Adult

소아 - Children

유아 - Infant

-인 - Person / people

만 2세-12세 - Between age 2 to 12

만 2세 미만 - Less than 2 years old

프루모션 코드 - Promotion code

예매하기 - Reserve

Choose the date that you want to go and how many people/children/infant that you want to book then press the button to go to the next page.

As always, choose the cheapest according to your time and plan. I have chosen the dates and time as above hence the total price is 69,200 won roughly for less than RM200. Then, press '다음' which means next.

You will be prompted to confirm on '여정 운임규정' journey fare rules. Tick the box and press the button '확인' for the next page.

The details of your itinerary will be shown for your confirmation and the 'xxxxxxxxxxxx' are your details. Press '입력완료' for input/details completion.

Key in your details of payment. 

First, choose '해외카드' International card under '카드구분' section. 

Then,

카드종류 - Card Type - 비자 Visa, 마스터 Master, 아멕스 AMEX

카드번호 - Card Number

카드만료일 - Card Expiration

After that, press '결제하기' for payment. 

This is your booking details. Click '예매 확인 증' which is highlighted in pink to print the booking confirmation.

Click the 'printer' icon to print.

How to Register for T'Way Airlines

I've been comparing and searching every nook and cranny of all available flights in South Korea for the cheapest flight ticket to Jeju Island this November and found T'Way Airlines to be the cheapest! ^^



At the time of search; 15,000 won for one way.



Before we book the ticket, let's go the steps to become T'Way Airlines member, shall we?

Firstly, go to T'Way Airlines website: http://www.twayair.com/

Look out for '로그인' which corresponds to 'LOG IN' at the top right corner of the website.

Once clicked, the next page will appear.

Click '회원가입' which means membership.



Follow the steps.

1. Tick the box for foreign residents


2. Key in your first name and last name, date of birth and sex.


3. Press '확인' for confirmation.

Tick the boxes to agree upon the terms and conditions and press '회원가입 계속 진행' to progress to the next page.

Here you have to key in your details following the steps below:

1. 
   No need to fill up. Your last name will automatically appear.
   
   


2. 
   No need to fill up. Your first name will automatically appear.
   
   


3.

Taman Narmada in Bali, Indonesia

Located just 11 km east of Mataram, Taman Narmada is a beautiful water garden which was constructed by the King of Mataram in 1805 as a replica of the summit of Mount Rinjani and its Crater Lake, Segara Anakan, when he was no longer able to climb the 3,726 m-high Mount Rinjani to make offerings to the God. This beautiful water garden takes its name from a sacred river in India. Taman Narmada is not just used as a place to worship God but also a pleasure garden for the King and his family.

Inside Taman Narmada, visitors can visit Pura Kalasa, a temple that is used as avenue of ceremony to celebrate the anniversary of god who dwells on Mount Rinjani. To reach this temple, the visitors have to conquer dozens of stairs but the exhaustion will soon recede for the lush green view of the surrounding combine with a fresh spring water will sooth the mind.

Taman Narmada also houses a sacred spring whose water is believed can give a long life and preserve the youthful appearance, in short this spring is believed to be the fountain of youth.

It is best to visit Taman Narmada around November or December since a great ceremony will be held in this water garden by the Hindu followers.
