Alcoholic beverages are always synonymous with a mixture of alcohol, soda water and some other mixtures. But what if the alcoholic beverage is made from tubers like sweet potatoes?. Makgeoli is one type of traditional Korean liquor containing alcohol and commonly called the Makuly (takju). This drink is made from rice is steamed and fermented with a murky color and still contains residues of rice.
