Finally, AirAsia has given the green light to fly on Kuala Lumpur - Singapore route. Personally I am surprised with this new. It looks like our government has become more open on competition. I am referring to Malaysia Airline and Singapore Airline. Definitely, after this there will be stiff competitions between these airline.
Well, I see it as good new for us as the customer. We have more choice to choose. We have more power in bargaining. It is the airline turn to please us. It is learned that AirAsia is given 2 daily flight each on non-peak hour. Tiger Airways, Singapore budget airline will also be offered the same route.
Both airlines are expected to start this route by January 2011.
