The Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair (MATF), which will be held from Feb 22-24, is offering six million seats, for both domestic and international travel.

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) offers attractive prices, up to 70 percent discount off the current market fares, would be made available during the promotional period for travel through the seven months up to end-September 2011, except certain blackout periods.

The low fares included those to its latest destinations, Macau and Yogyakarta, as well as on additional frequencies to the South Asian destinations of Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore.

Attractive fares are also offered to the orient and the traditional favorite MATF destinations like London, Amsterdam, Melbourne and Perth.

MAS also offer a 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' promotion on business class seats for routes to Association of South-East Asian Nations cities as well as to Xiamen, Kunming and Macau.

The Cheng Hoon Teng Temple Melaka

The Cheng Hoon Teng Temple Melaka is the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia. It was founded in 1645 by Kapitan China Lee Wei King. Kapitan China was a position created by the Portuguese to act as an administrator of the local Chinese community.

Chinese New Year - Must Visit Event of Malaysia

Chinese New Year is celebrated on the first day of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. It is the most essential event for the Chinese community in Malaysia. The number of attendance in Malaysia’s Chinese New Year celebration bores testimony to the religious tolerance and racial harmony prevailing among Malaysians.

Many rituals are practiced during the Chinese New Year and one of these is cleaning and placing embellishments on their houses to prepare for the big day. This is also the time when the Chinese settle their debts, offer prayers and buy new clothes and plenty of food. Most Chinese make this event an opportunity to reunite with their relatives.

A variety of cultural activities are also showcased in different venues. The different types of activities include cultural dances, Chinese opera, traditional silk ball throwing, calligraphy, calisthenics and Chinese pastry making. Chinese New Year is celebrated for fifteen days but the concentration is on the first three days. It ends with the Chap Goh Mei on the fifteenth day.

San Diego Wild Animal Park

Aside from the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Wild Animal Park is the best place in San Diego to see animals. Over the spread of 1,800 acres, the animal park gives animals the room they need to roam and play. The animals here play just like they do in the wild, which almost makes you feel as if you are in their native of Africa and Asia.

Throughout the 30 year history of the animal park, the Noah's Ark symbol of endangered species has grown to dozens upon dozens of animals. Now, every Arabian Oryx found in the wild is the descendant stock from the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

In the park, there are many different paths you can take to visit the smaller animal exhibits. Although the smaller animals are a sight to see, the main thing to see is the hour long trip on the Bush Line Railway. Along the railway, you'll see animals that you'd never get the chance of seeing anywhere else,
such as the white rhino and the rhinoceros.

If you plan to visit the park in the summer, it's always a good idea to visit early. On a normal summer day, ten - fifteen thousand people will visit the park. During the winter, the ratio is down as normally 2,000 people will visit. Although it's much colder in the winter, the park is less frequent with people looking to see the animals the park offers.

You can find the animal park 32 miles north of Escondido in San Diego. The park is in a peaceful area, which makes things a lot better for the animals that live there.

When visiting in the summer, it's a great idea to walk a while, then take the railway. After you have took the railway a bit, you can walk some more. It's also good to take plenty of sunscreen with you as well, as summer at the park can get very hot. Water is great as well, simply because the summer in California can
be a bit of a scorcher.

The San Diego Wild Animal Park is ran by the San Diego Zoological Society. The society also runs the San Diego Zoo, which is one of the most popular animal parks in the entire world. With the park and the zoo, the society does more than its part to bring the best of seeing the animals to you.

Belmont Park In San Diego

Located in sunny San Diego, the Belmont Park is one of the best amusement parks in San Diego. With plenty for the entire family, this Park has something for everyone. With rides for the entire family and basically everything in between, Belmont Park makes for a very exciting adventure.

Balboa Beach In Newport Beach

Being one of the pristine beaches in Newport Beach, Balboa Beach is found on the Balboa peninsula. The beach faces the Pacific Ocean, and is actually just a few blocks from the well known Balboa Fun Zone and the yacht harbor.

In the summer, the beach is very popular for swimming lessons. Balboa Beach is also well known for a 920 foot pier that was voted to be the best throughout Orange County. Attractions To Newport Beach

Learn Korean language on italki

Join me and start learning a language on italki together!

This is another option to improve your level for serious Korean learners out there.

Recently, I was torn between taking an online class and normal class at ICLS, Bukit Bintang but due to time constraint, in the end I opted for Italki. There's not much difference in the class rate per hour but I couldn't afford to drive all the way downtown and going through that horrible rush hour at the golden bermuda area.

Italki

• You have to have a credit card or Paypal account to pay for the lessons
• You can choose various teachers and different rates are offered
• Schedule is determined by the teachers
• Teachers will get the payment only after you have completed the session
• You need to have Skype or MSN account to contact the teachers.
• Study at the comfort of your own house/room

How much you need to pay for Italki ?
The teacher will charge per session or class by ITC (Italki credits) - for example if a teacher charges 60 ITC per hour, it is equivalent to about RM19. However the teacher would normally request a student to confirm a 10 hour class/session per registration. So, you may need to purchase 600 ITC for 10 hour class/session in this case either with your credit card or Paypal. Don't worry, payment will be only transferred to the teacher's account only after a session completes.

ICLS

• ICLS stands for Inter Culture Language School
• It has three branches - Subang Jaya, Damansara and Bukit Bintang. I studied my beginner class in Japanese in Bukit Bintang, Fahrenheit building (Old KL Plaza).
• Classes are on weekdays (2 times per week - 7.00pm-8.30pm) or Saturdays (2.00pm - 4.00pm)
• If you want to start other than beginner level, you need to sit for placement test. The teacher will determine your level based on the test's result
• One level is about 1 month and a half to complete

How much you need to pay for ICLS ?
Tuition fee - RM380
Book - RM25
Registration fee - RM30
Total -RM435 / 18 hours ~ RM24/hour
