First smashing day in Bupyeong with Hye Won

Meet Hye Won, my penpal from Bupyeong, Incheon. She's definitely a sweet and very patient mom of daughter aged 17 months. Her daughter Da yeon is so cute!


I met her at Bupyeong bus stop. Took bus no 111 from Incheon airport at bus stop number 9. The fare was 3,900 won with T- money or 4,000 won if you use cash. It's about 1 hour journey.


No 111 bus. I didn't feel any air condition since the weather outside was cool.

The bus stop in Bupyeong tells you how many minutes bus no 111 will arrive. It will be another 9 minutes. Excellent!! If we ever had it in Malaysia, seriously it rocks!!

Had a giant jeonju bibimbap for lunch 8,500 won for 2 people. It was a set of jeonju bibimbap, doenjang chigae and naengmyun but I only able to eat half of the bibimbap and I really love the doenjang chigae!! Cause it's spicy. Yummy...

Incheon airport

I reached Incheon airport at 0725 hours, the immigration check was a fly. The officer didn't even take a glance at my face. Is she really doing her work? Hahaha..maybe because Malaysian can enter South Korea for 90 days without visa I guess.

The weather was cloudy at 18 degrees celcius but cool. Refreshing. I love it! Reminds me of the weather in Chiba, Japan. Natsukashiii..

Bought my Seoul CityPass + T-Money (Please get this if you want to use the subway a lot!) and banana milk.
The card is 3,000 won. You can reload it after that. I did for 10,000 won.


This banana milk tasted like cough medicine. This gonna be my last! 1,000 won.

Met Azwin, Malaysian exchange student in Daegu. She really helped me a lot at the Ministop mart! Kamsahamnida. Will meet her later cause her university has been used for filming Boys over Flowers!! Yeahooooooooo... (ring a bell?). That posh and luxurious university.


Public phones which drained my coins like mad. It's actually broken.


Enjoying Korean drama while finishing my banana milk and then surfed internet at Level 2. I just plugged my lapT at any available power outlet.

KLIA Wifi v/s Incheon airport Wifi

What a let down. I had to wait for 20-30 minutes before I can login. Malaysia is still a loonggg way behind.

Aigoo..hahah.
I just reached Incheon airport at 0725 hours, took my luggage, drank banana milk that tasted like cough medicine and blogging from here now.

My vouch -- the Wifi in Incheon aiport is damn fast. Not even 1 minute and I am logged in. This is what I called efficient technology. I used Iptime. Naver network need to sign up.

I am stranded for more than 12 hours in KLIA

Not that I want to.
In accordance with the title of the blog 'budget travel' I had to choose Air Asia over Malaysia Airlines for domestic flight. Hence the early flight at 0925 hours and the endless wait. I know..I know..it's a waste of time but RM40 (Air Asia)ticket against RM200 (Malaysia Airlines).

Air Asia at 0925 hours or Malaysia Airlines at 1930 hours? I had to choose the former cause I have all the time in the world now albeit quite penniless. Hahaha..

Now I understand why time is gold.

Only my parents were able to send me off at Senai international airport this morning but I was grateful cause I could have some teary moments with my beloved Mom. (As if I'm going for 3 years!) Hahaha..Mom, I told you not to cry didnt' I?

The AirAsia landing at LCCT was the worst ever. Ain't the pilot normally did smooth landing? Hmmm...Damn hungry and grabbed a plate of Nasi Ayam for RM13.90 (I miss the nasi ayam in front of CSC for merely RM3.50).

There is a shuttle bus from LCCT to KLIA for only RM1.50 one way. Unfortunately I didn't feel any cool air from the air-conditioner at all! No doubt Malaysia is super duper warm these days. Felt like jumping into a swimming pool now.

Since I couldn't sleep last night and now I feel really sleepy. Suddenly I had the idea of sleeping on the chair like what I did in Hongkong Airport but there was no strategic location away from the din. Hence, I slept briefly around 15 minutes sitting on a chair. ^^ Yes, I could..hehe.
