Honeymoon at No.1 Samui Hotel

I did the honeymoon trip with my wife after 6 months of wedding ceremony. We went to Koh Samui, Thailand. This is the one dream destination for couples who want to have the romantic trip.
Come back to the main topic, Honeymoon at No.1 Samui Hotel. I mean the Centara Grand Beach Resort HuaHin. This hotel have cost start +10,000 baht/night, seems to be expensive but you will know that it is valueable to stay with the price after you try to visit at once.
I choose this hotel because I want to make my wife feel it is special than the normal trip that we just spend the money for the cheaper hotel. I want her feel that this is the real honeymoon trip.

We(I & my wife) stayed in the Garden-View room that is located on 1st floor. This is the lowest price from this hotel. If you want to have pool in-side the room, you have to pay upto 40,000 baht/night. I will not crazy to do that!! right!!. It's lucky that my room is close to the pool, that make us do 7 walk-steps and jump to the pool easily.

We spend time to swim with the fresh-cool water in a pool 2 hours on the 1st day, 1 hours on second day. There is a jagucy pool beside the swimming pool, we sit on it over an hour. It's very relax to heal our muscle. We stay until 7pm (swimming guard tell us that the pool is closed already)

Telling about the room I would like to show you how comfortable is it!! The room is very nice decorate with modern style. The think that make I unhappy is I don't get a king-size bed ( I got twin-bed) but it's not matter after I found that they provide the bed suit for us, very pretty orange suit & slipper is very nice for us.

This is just rough information to tell you about the honeymoon trip in this hotel. Are you jealous on me?

Bophut : Koh Samui, Thailand

Bophut is really has two places; Bophut beach, which located several kilometres between Big Buddha and Maename beachs and the charming Fisherman's Village which is on the middle section of the beach.

Fisherman's village is lined with traditional Chinese, wooden shop house. The modern buildings here blend in nicely and certainly don't spoil the traditional feel to the place. Bophut Beach itself spans about two mile, this beach is quieter than the beaches on the Koh Samui Island.

Lamai Beach : Koh Samui, Thailand

Lamai Beach is located in south of Chaweng beach. The beach isn't long, the off-white sand isn't as fine and not much restaurants and bars same with the range of quality from Chaweng. That's why the cheaper guesthouses and resorts can be found at this area. The beach has three distinct areas, the north is quieter with less development but good for relaxation. The center and southern have more development and both areas have a lot of activities.

The good attraction place at Lamai beach is Hin-Ta Hin-Yai, Grand mother Grand father rocks. Which is the unique shape of rocks on the beach. This place are well known and don't be miss from the Samui Tour's plan
Overall if you're prefer to stay on beach without spending more money, Lamai beach can be a choice.

Chaweng Beach : Koh Samui, Thailand

Over the past twenty years, Chaweng Beach has been transformed from a near deserted tropical bay, inhabited by a handful of fishermen and visited by a few adventurous backpackers, into a vibrant, busy, cosmopolitan resort town.
Chaweng Beach is located on Koh Samui's east coast, is the most developed area on the island. It attracts many young travelers and families alike, and remains good value for the money. The beach is approximately 7 Km long, with powdery white sand. It is bordered by dreamy, emerald-blue waters and a coral reef where waves break, leaving the bay quite peaceful. Two small islands are close to the reef -- the nearest one can easily be accessed by walking through the shallow waters. The second island, further out and larger, provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy snorkeling and kayaking. Bring shoes if you plan to walk around the islands, as they are made of sharp coral sands.
Last time I visit with my wife, we stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui, the price just 10,000 baht/night!!

Big Buddha : Koh Samui, Thailand

Big Buddha of Koh Samui is located at Bangrak Beach is also known as Big Buddha Beach because of the 12 metre high Buddha statue that dominates the area. Big Buddha beach is located on the north east coast of Samui, about 15 minutes by road to Chaweng Beach, as well as being in a good location for the airport.
The remarkable Buddha statue is obviously the main focal point here. The statue took two years to build and is certainly an impressive sight, and can even be seen from the air on arrival to Samui airport. The upper section is decorated with huge prayer bells, and from here the views out to sea are stunning. On important festivals, this is one of the liveliest spots on the island, with big celebrations taking place.
