Know Before You Go

Ask if there are officers who are willing to take you into the room when you enter the hotel at night. Ask for rooms on the upper floor, near the elevator, but far from the emergency exit, stairs, and all kinds of renovation work. Never accept room if the clerk calls your name or room number out loud.
While at the front desk, take the hotel's business card (which is the name, address, and phone number) and store card. When entering the room, make sure the doors have a place to peek and chain latch (deadbolt). If no, do not ever open the door for people who do not know.

Make two copies of important travel documents, one taken in the course, one for the store to friends or family at home.
By packing smart
